World Book Day 2019

We had a super World Book Day celebration on Thursday 7th March 2019! There were lots of creative and sensory activities, as well as lots of story telling.

Our children and families put in a lot of effort to dress up as their favourite book characters.

Lower School took part in Roald Dahl themed sensory workshops! In the Willy Wonka Chocolate session, the children got to make chocolate fruit skewers and use their senses.

Children in Lower School also explored James & The Giant Peach through sensory play and this helped to develop their physical skills!

Some of our Upper School classes took part in a shared story session! They read 2 stories from David Walliams - Windy Mindy (with whoopee cushions) and Gruesome Griselda!
