We have been asked to circulate the following letter to families regarding the Local Area SEND re-visit of Derby City Council.

Derby City Council WSOA - Letter to parents

Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will carry out jointly a re-visit of Derby City following the previous inspection that took place between 17 June 2019 and 21 June 2019. The re-visit will evaluate how effectively leaders within the council have addressed the areas of serious weaknesses detailed in the Written Statement Of Action (WSOA).

The re-visit is due to take place between the 4th October-6th October 2021.
