Children In Need 2019

On Friday 15th November, we joined in with raising money for BBC Children In Need. We know that this is a fantastic charity that supports community groups up and down the country - including those here in Derby who we work with in school!

The day was action packed and we offered the children, staff and families plenty of opportunities to raise lots for spots (Pudsey Bear).

We had:

  • Face painting
  • Cake sales
  • Big Morning Move in the hall (fun games)
  • Fancy Dress
  • Masterchef / Bake Off cake making
  • Class based activities; including biscuit decorating and sensory play

We have raised over £230 so far for the charity and the figure is rising with the final few donations still to collect!

Please see below for a selection of photos from the day showing the fun and celebrations! a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported and donated.

The BIG Morning Move session was great, with children acros the school working together in the hall:

Throughout the morning there were also plenty of class based activities for the children to engage with, such as decorating Pudsey masks and tasty biscuits!

There were lots of children and staff that came to school in fancy dress! We asked them to dress up as either their favourite children's TV character, Pyjamas or Pudsey related! We think that everyone looks AMAZING and made a great effort.
